今年第一號強烈颱風尼伯特已接近臺灣，過去不少民眾習慣在颱風天叫外送，餐飲業員工就必須冒著風雨外送餐點，勞工局強調，依現行規定，颱風天嚴禁雇主指派勞工用摩托車外送，如經勞檢處查獲一律重罰，絕不寬貸。

勞工局代理局長李煥熏指出，雇主非必要應避免快遞、餐飲外送等外勤工作，若不得已使勞工出勤，務必以勞工安全作為首要考量，切不可勉強勞工出勤。

依《職業安全衛生設施規則》第286-2條規定，若速食店、披薩店等餐飲業，讓員工冒著風雨騎機車外送，依《職業安全衛生法》最高罰30萬元。

勞檢處長周登春說，颱風天執行外送工作，雇主應負起維護勞工安全的責任。
